Anna Sklut is the Director of Campus Ministry at St. Agnes Academy. She is a recent graduate of the University of Notre Dame's Echo: Faith Formation Leadership Program where she earned her M.A. in Theology. Originally from Michigan, Anna has served in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston since 2009 as an apprentice Catechetical Leader at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in Spring. Before moving to Houston, Anna served in high school campus ministry in Michigan, as well as college campus ministry, music ministry and outreach at Michigan State University. Sr. Mary Brenda, OP, a Houston Dominican Sister, teaches Moral Theology/Social Justice and serves as SAA's Associate Campus Minister. She received a B.S. in Health Education from Penn State University, is a Registered Nurse, and holds an M.A. in Systematic Theology from St. Thomas University. Sister brings with her a diverse background of experience. She has been an RN for over 25 years practicing in the areas of Labor/Delivery and Emergency Trauma, as well as School Nurse Coordinator for the Archdiocese of Galveston/Houston. In addition, she served four years as the Director of the HIV/AIDS Outreach Program at Catholic Charities. She is an experienced retreat presenter and Spiritual Director.
